We’re back sooner rather than later. Our February 2015 events is an extension of our Annual UK Natural Hair and Beauty Show, Natural Hair Week.

We believe it is important to support and uplift others, so we've chosen to donate all proceeds to a very worthy cause – US YouTuber MeechyMonroe who is currently recovering from cancer. Join us in London Saturday 7 February 2015 for an evening of charity, dining, entertainment and more.

What is Natural Hair Week?

Natural Hair Week is the UK’s first and only event series dedicated to celebrating natural hair and beauty across the country. Launched in July 2013, the conference styled event has proven to be a much needed space for women to be inspired, informed and interactive. To date we have had over 4,000 visitors in attendance. The 2nd annual Natural Hair Week event in Summer 2014 was sponsored by well-known brands including Hairfinity, Curls, Design Essentials and KeraCare. Each event included informative seminars from qualified experts, interactive debates, creative hair demos and over 40 brands exhibited. See what happened at previous Natural Hair Week events.

Curls for a cause: #GetWellMeechy

On 15 April 2014, Meechy suffered three unexplained strokes. On 30 May 014, Meechy underwent her first of two brain surgeries. It was this craniotomy which actually revealed a tumour. In preparation for the procedure, rather than lose her hair, she had it carefully shaved, preserved and donated to Locks of Love—a not-for-profit organisation which focuses on cancer patients coping with hair loss. After her second brain surgery on 3 July 2014, Meechy is making drastic improvements with the help of physical, occupational, and speech therapy. Although Meechy is on the road to recovery, medical bills are piling up, therefore Natural Hair Week has decided to donate all proceeds to help cover the cost of her care.

Location

The event will be located at the glamorous Paternoster Square in the shadow of St. Paul's, which sets the scene for dramatic deals, exuberant celebrations and extravagant successes. It's busy day and night, attracting bankers, traders and property experts from the surrounding area. Based in the heart of the city of London, we have picked the ideal location of this event.
