About this course

On this course, we will look at what meditation is and how to practice it – using a variety of “tools” and techniques.  We will cover conducive factors on preparation, our imagination, the benefits of meditation, mantras and affirmations, effects of colour and the role of chakras and how to balance these, how to release tension, and the use of our breath.

By attending this course, you will be able to show secure knowledge of what external factors help to promote and make Meditation easier.  You will be able to show understanding of how breathing techniques can influence Meditation and apply different Meditation techniques to your practice. You will understand how to use the techniques in different situations and circumstances, such as preparing your meditation environment, awareness of our imagination and how to improve.  We will cover the many benefits of meditation for our well-being, how to use mantras and affirmations, the effects of colour, the role of chakras and how to balance these, and how to release tension.
