Be the Difference: Domestic Abuse Workshop

This workshop has been developed by Findaway, a project from WWIN Specialist Domestic Abuse Services. For 40 years WWIN have supported communities in Sunderland through our specialist domestic abuse services. Now – through Findaway - we hope to reach those impacted earlier, before the abuse escalates, by supporting those around them.Findaway is a project that recognises that you – the families, friends, and community members – are usually the first to know, and best placed to support, if someone you know affected by domestic abuse.Our service includes: An anonymous phoneline, peer-support groups, educational workshops, and resources. Our trained advocates can provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to effectively support the person you’re worried about.
