We are a collective of companies working at the intersection of architecture, technological efficiency, and climate innovation. What unites us is a simple belief that the built environment must do better. Better for people, better for places, and better for the planet.Alongside our businesses, we run _shift, our annual climate conference._shift brings together voices from across disciplines to share ideas, challenge assumptions, and accelerate meaningful change. It is an open forum for learning, debate, and collaboration. By making it accessible to all, we aim to widen the conversation on decarbonising the built environment, because addressing climate change is a challenge none of us can solve alone.

For this year's event, guests of Space Group will be coming together at Newcastle University's <a href="https://goo.gl/maps/yWutUMNjvFAxyUD97" title="https://goo.gl/maps/yWutUMNjvFAxyUD97" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Henry Daysh Building</a> on Thursday, November 7th 2024.With buildings responsible for 40% of global greenhouse gas emissions, and these emissions projected to double by 2050 if not mitigated, this conference serves as a crucial platform for discussing and implementing solutions to keep global warming below 1.5°C.On November 7th, you can expect engaging presentations, panel discussions, and networking opportunities with professionals committed to climate action. Together, we will delve into key topics such as addressing operational and embodied carbon, systems-level thinking, circular economy adoption, and data-driven solutions— each essential for driving the transformation of the built environment.Join fellow changemakers at our third annual _shift conference for a day of collaboration and exploration.
