What's a new material show?

A new material show is where we get our hand picked pro and semi pro comedians to come up and test out new jokes before they take them to the clubs and on tour. It's a relaxed and fun night where you get a peak behind the curtain of the process of standup comedy.

Who is on the lineup?

Expect a mixture of current and future stars. This isn't an open mic night, all of our acts are experienced on the UK comedy circuit. Follow us on Instagram @HackneyComedyClub and we announce the lineups on the day including any special guest headliners.

Does the pub serve food?

Yes, you can order food from downstairs and eat before the show or during the interval. You can also have snacks from the pub during the show.
