Brent is 1 of 32 London boroughs. But it’s unlike anywhere else.
1 in 32 is a bold new documentary and community platform exploring power, inequality and radical imagination in Brent.
Led by 10 local community reporters and supported by the Equality Trust and filmmaker Hannah Oliver, this project has gathered real voices from across the borough asking what people love about Brent, what needs to change and how we collaboratively create a future rooted in inclusion, justice, kindness and psychological safety.
Please book your ticket to one of three screenings slots at Parlour: 11am, 1pm and 6pm. The film screening, and following discussion and questions, will be an hour in total.
This project is funded by Trust for London and Global Action Plan. We are grateful for their support in championing community-led spaces, research and action.
This event is free to attend. But if you would like to support the work of 1 in 32 there is the option to add a donation to your ticket . We hope to screen the film across London, submit to film festivals and secure the resources needed to continue meeting and campaigning.
