This event is part of Trustees’ Week 2024 and aimed at anyone who may be interested in becoming a trustee but would like to know more.

Cumbria CVS is hosting a Get on Board and Become a Volunteer Trustee Virtual Volunteer Trustee Recruitment Session on Thursday 7 November 2024 from 6.30pm-8pm online via zoom. This event is part of Trustees’ Week 2024 and aimed at anyone who may be interested in becoming a trustee but would like to know more.By attending the event potential new trustees will find out more about what a trustee and board member is, the roles and responsibilities of trustees, skills and qualities needed to be a trustee, the range of trustee volunteering opportunities available, when and where volunteers are needed, training and support provided and how individuals can register and apply to become a Volunteer Trustee. Organisations looking to recruit volunteers will also be attending. This event is part of our This Is Us project, made possible by Westmorland and Furness Council through funding from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. It is also supported through Bedrock as Cumbria CVS is a delivery partner in the Transforming West Cumbria programme. This programme is funded by Sellafield Ltd and the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) and managed by Cumbria Community Foundation.
