Infant Feeding at Bristol Children's Hospital

Join us for a 1 or 2 day online workshop event by the author of "Breastfeeding the Brave" - Lyndsey Hookway.

Lyndsey will be talking about the general aspects of supporting breastfeeding on Day 1 and move onto advanced skills of adapting your approach in a paediatric hospital setting on Day 2. Lyndsey will provide guidance and answer any questions you may have.

A rare opportunity to access paediatric-specific training on supporting infant feeding in hospital. Connect with other healthcare professionals (medics, nurses, speech and language therapists and dietitians) during the worshops and share your unique experience.

About Lyndsey:

Lyndsey is a Paediatric Nurse by backgrowund. She was a Family Centred care coordinator for SW London Perinatal Network and becoming an Infant feeding Lead in 2015.

In 2018, Lyndsey has been speaking at events like this and traveling all over the world spreading her passion for infant feeding and her plentiful expertise.

You might also know her as the Author AND founder of the Breastfeeding the Brave awareness campaign and find many of her podcasts on her website.

Most recently, she’s completed a PhD in public health and worked with UNICEF Baby Friendly Initiative on the Training Standards for Paediatric hospitals that are due to appear later in the year.
