T﻿he Rebuild Site takes surplus materials from construction sites and put them to good use.A﻿s part of our Communities Programme, we run a series of workshops, events and information sessions for the public. We cover areas such as sustainable skills, arts and crafts using recycled/ surplus materials and environmental focused activities.

Rebuild Site Community Workshops - Winter 2024

Get involved in our mini Winter Festive Programme 2024. Learn new sustainable skills and craft using repair and upcycling methods with our festive themed activities.

<h4>Event Informaiton</h4> Make your own festive wreath using the rag wreath method. We will use donated and recycled fabrics in our crafts.Led by local artist and facilitator <a href="https://www.delicatestitches.co.uk/" title="https://www.delicatestitches.co.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Helen Walsh of Delicate Stitches</a>.This workshop is running as part of The Rebuild Site CIC Winter 2024 Events Programme. See our website for more information. <h4>Session Information</h4><ul><li>These workshops are aimed at adults. You will need to be 16 or over to book.</li><li>Unless otherwise specified, all materials will be provided by us.</li><li>Refreshments such as tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.</li><li>Due to the content of some of our activities, you will be required to undertake a Health and Safety briefing before the start of the session. You may be required to wear PPE, such as face shields and gloves. These will be provided by us.</li><li>Please wear weather and activity appropriate clothing and footwear when visiting us.</li></ul> <h4>Accessibility</h4>If you have any accessibility requirements, please get in touch with us before the event.We are close to the number 62 bus route which runs from Carlisle City Centre.
