TheAdvanced Computing Research Centre (ACRC)has helped establish Bristol University as a world-class centre for research and teaching in advanced computing systems.We deliver high quality training in advanced computing skills to our University's researchers, provide hundreds of millions of research computing core hours across our supercomputers and manage Petabytes of research data.

Python is a simple yet powerful scripting language.  This 'Beginning Python' workshop will include:
<UL>
<LI>an introduction to Python </LI>
<LI>writing your first Python programs</LI>
<LI>automating repetitive tasks with Python</LI>
<LI> processing text with Python</LI>
<LI>using Python as a glue between other programs (e.g. BlueCrystal job scripts)</LI>
</UL>
Prerequisites:  
YOU WILL NEED TO BRING A FULLY CHARGED LAPTOP with Anaconda Python 3.7 already installed.

No previous programming experience is required.
