Our ethos is to offer a platform to support small businesses, creators, artists, makers, an opportunity to showcase their products to a captive audience of shoppers, we want our customers to be spoiled for choice, building a fantastic arena for traders to sell their collection directly to customers. Likewise a perfect opportunity for customers to meet the business owners, have a chat, view, touch and hopefully purchase the products. A chance for traders to meet both potential and regular customers too.

We celebrate Black History Month, and are excited to organise to pop up markets in the heart of Crystal Palace My Pop Up Events celebrates, as we mark over 76 years of Windrush in the heart of Crystal Palace next door to Sainburys at the Phoenix Community Centre. We have come a long way as we mark the 76th anniversary of the Windrush. The Windrush generation come to Britain when the government invited people of African and Carribean decent to the UK as they needed workers to help fill post-war labour shortages and rebuild the economy. Several of them had degrees, however many of them who arrived became manual workers, drivers, cleaners, and nurses in the newly established NHS. There are so many talented and creative black businesses all over the globe, My Pop Up Events organises pop up markets in october every year to celebrate and support black businesses as they showcase and sell their beautiful collection to a wider audience. My Pop Up Events are thrilled to celebrate and commemorate the national milestone, we are organising a platform to empower, support and inspire Black Businesses locally of African and Caribbean descent to sell their creativity, talent and resources to a captive audience. Come see, touch and meet the business owners behind the talent Everyone is welcome and we look forward to seeing you all If you are a trader of African or Caribbean descent come and join us as we trade, an opportunity to sell your gems to new customers as well as inviting your regular customers where you are able to showcase your wares.
