Artist led session for disabled and neurodivergent children and young people.

Ferens Art Gallery

This is a relaxed winter and nature themed art session designed for children and young people with special eductaional needs or disabilities, funded by Hull City Council and the Department for Education through the Healthy Holidays Hull programme.In the session children will work with artists Sharisse Ullah and Rosie Ireson to make their own mini eco-system by layering various soils, landscaping amendments, live plants, decorative stones and themed accessories. They can also choose on the day from accessories such mini pots, Christmas decorations and textured bark to help make their creation unique to them!Healthy snacks will also be available to all the children and young people who attend.Booking for this session is essential as spaces are limited. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Please only book a ticket for each child or young person attending the session. Accompanying adults do not need to book a ticket.
