Book Club for Spanish Learners

This is an activity aimed at non-native readers of Spanish who wish to gradually introduce themselves to Hispanic literature and find a friendly and relaxed space for conversation adapted to their level.

The Instituto Cervantes library in Manchester invites you to join our Spanish Language Book Clubs.This is a great opportunity for non-native Spanish speakers to gradually explore Hispanic literature in a friendly and welcoming environment tailored to your level.Our October session is designed for Intermediate (B2) learners and features the following Spanish texts:Montañas de sal, de Nayef Yehya (México)La carta y los melones, de Isaac Valer (Perú)

The club is led by Luz Comendador (librarian), with academic support from Ana Valbuena, (teacher at the Instituto Cervantes in Manchester).Activity in SpanishIntermediate (B2): students in courses B1.2, B1.3, B1.4, B2.1Participants will receive the texts from our library.Further information: bibman@cervantes.es

El Club de Lectura para Estudiantes de Español es una actividad dirigida a lectores no nativos de español que deseen iniciarse gradualmente en las literaturas hispanas y encontrar un espacio amable y distendido de conversación adaptado a su nivel.Los textos, originalmente escritos en español, están seleccionados de acuerdo con el nivel de aprendizaje.En la sesión de Octubre para el nivel intermedio (B2) leeremos dos relatos :Montañas de sal, de Nayef Yehya (México)La carta y los melones, de Isaac Valer (Perú)
