In a world where information is abundant yet often misleading, how do we ensure pet owners are equipped with the truth?

Our Annual Convention brings together the brightest minds and leading experts in veterinary science, nutrition, and communications to tackle our industry's challenges today.

Scientist, writer, and broadcaster Dr Adam Rutherford will focus on the megatrend of misinformation and what we can do to tackle fake news and bad science.

Vet and Influencer Cat Henstridge will highlight her work in the digital world to challenge misinformation. Why do particular messages gain such traction, and how do we address it?

Professor Thomas Webb from the School of Psychology, Sheffield University, will delve into the head vs. heart dilemma and how we can help people be wise despite the influence of visceral drives like emotions and feelings.

Underneath it all is our powerful bond with our pets and our desire to provide the best care possible.

From understanding human behaviour to the psychology behind decision-making, our speakers will provide a fresh perspective on communicating effectively in a "post-truth" era.
