Who should attend?

Anyone over 18 who wants to write, more, write better, write differently, write happier, write easier, write more confidently. Our focus will be on flash and short fiction but this needn’t be a limitation. No obligation to share work or read aloud, but there will be opportunitities to do so.

What to bring?

Something to write on/with – paper and pen, laptop, whatever is comfortable for you. We’ll be doing some paper and pen-based work (materials provided) so if that is difficult for you, please let me know on the booking form and I can make adjustments.
Comfortable clothes and footwear – get gussied up

How to get there?

The Large Shed at The Chickenshed Theatre, 290 Chase Side, London N14 4PE

The theatre is equidistant between Oakwood and Cockfosters stations on the Piccadilly Line, just over half a mile/12 mins level walking.

Food and drinks?

Accepted Answer

Available all day at the Chickenshed Café within the Theatre. There are also many bakeries, a Sainsbury’s local and a deli within 10 minutes’ walk. You are free to bring a packed lunch if that suits you better. You will have an hour free for lunch and there will be other short breaks in the day.
