SBRI Healthcare is delighted to announce the launch of a new funding competition: <a href="https://sbrihealthcare.co.uk/competitions/competition-27-work-related-digital-innovations-for-individuals-with-poor-mental-health?token=a6a9e0cf34c150b024bb3b9830943e1c77c7b27b" title="https://sbrihealthcare.co.uk/competitions/competition-27-work-related-digital-innovations-for-individuals-with-poor-mental-health?token=a6a9e0cf34c150b024bb3b9830943e1c77c7b27b" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Competition 27: Work-related digital innovations for individuals with poor mental health</a>. The competition is funded by the Accelerated Access Collaborative in partnership with NHS England’s Digital Innovation Team and the Health Innovation Network and seeks innovative digital solutions that support individuals with poor mental health to return to work, remain at work, or gain employment.The competition seeks solutions that address the following key focus areas: <ol><li>Digital interventions targeting work-related risk factors facing the working age population (aged 16-64) with mental health problems in employment, that provide rapid support to individuals to help them remain in work</li><li>Digital interventions that specifically tackle barriers to work facing unemployed working age individuals (aged 16-64) with mental health problems, to support individuals to return to work or gain employment</li><li>Digital interventions targeting workplace issues/barriers facing the working age population (aged 16-64) from disadvantaged communities with mental health problems, to support individuals attain, remain or return to work</li></ol> The competition is open to innovations at any stage of development from testing the technical and commercial feasibility to generating evidence in real world settings. The key aims of the Briefing Webinar are to: <ul><li>Introduce the SBRI Healthcare programme, and aims of the competition</li></ul><ul><li>Explain in more detail what challenges in healthcare the call is aiming to address, and provide a clearer view of the type of innovations encouraged to apply</li></ul><ul><li>Understand the role of the Health Innovation Network, how they are best placed to support projects, and hear tips about implementation studies and evaluations</li></ul><ul><li>Allow applicants to ask questions to presenters</li></ul> The competition is open to single organisations (contracts are executed with individual legal entities) based in the UK or EU from the private, public and third sectors, including companies (large corporates and small and medium enterprises), charities, universities, and NHS providers, given a strong commercial strategy is provided and clear benefit to the NHS is demonstrated.The <a href="https://sbrihealthcare.co.uk/" title="https://sbrihealthcare.co.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Small Business Research Initiative (SBRI) Healthcare</a> is an NHS England <a href="https://www.england.nhs.uk/aac/" title="https://www.england.nhs.uk/aac/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Accelerated Access Collaborative</a> funded initiative, supported by the <a href="https://thehealthinnovationnetwork.co.uk/" title="https://thehealthinnovationnetwork.co.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Health Innovation Network</a>.SBRI Healthcare provides funding and support to early-stage projects enabling testing for business feasibility and technology development as well as to more mature products by supporting real world implementation studies.
