Internationally they have performed at festivals in Greece, France, Italy, Scotland, Wales and Qatar. In the UK they have performed at the Purcell Room, Royal Festival Hall, Royal Albert Hall, St David's Hall as part of the proms, as well as more intimate venues such as the Green Note, Vortex and the Forge, London. They have also performed at Kings Place, London, both as part of the Rebetiko Carnival and Equator: Women of the World Festival.The musicians of Plastikes Karekles are also founding members of of the Rebetiko Carnival, a charity and festival with rebetiko music at its heart and dedicated to schools, hospitals, prisons and care homes throughout the UK.

Our space is equipped with top of the line sound &amp; lighting equipment, cared for by our dedicated team of in-house engineers.​At 60 capacity it is a beautifully intimate and unique performance space which is home to our monthly showcase nights, as well as wide range of shows and events.​With an unbeatable atmosphere, great selection of craft beers on tap, and a whole host of events throughout the year, The Folklore Rooms is Brighton's newest music venue that delivers much more than just the show.
