Our Voices Were Heard is an age-positive new theatre show by <a href="https://www.elderscouncil.org.uk/" title="https://www.elderscouncil.org.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">The Elders Council of Newcastle </a>and <a href="https://www.unfoldingtheatre.co.uk/" title="https://www.unfoldingtheatre.co.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Unfolding Theatre</a>. Through protest songs and real-life stories of taking action, a group of older people reflect on making their voices heard over the decades and where that leaves us now. With live music including songs co-written and performed with A Band Like This and Jane Holman, this upbeat production explores how we can make positive change across the generations.
