We are Community Groups in Fife that are taking action on Climate Change. By working through this network we intend to share information, resources and knowledge whilst tackling the barriers to low carbon living in Fife. We will act as a channel of communication with Fife council and the wider Scottish Communities Climate Action Network to whom we are affiliated.

The event is supported by Greener Kirkcaldy and Fife Climate Hub.Where is the event taking place?Bennochy Hub, Bennochy House, Forth Park Drive, KirkcaldyWhat will happen during the event?Welcome to Curnie Clubs and a talk Flourish with Nature“Truth in Ten” Climate Reality talk – Michelle SelbieTour of the garden with improved accessibilityLunchFilm “Why Not Scotland”“Why Not Scotland” is a feature-length documentary, which forms a central part of the Alliance’s Rewilding Nation campaign. The film accompanies Flo, a young Scot from Glasgow, on an intensely personal journey, as she seeks out examples of nature recovery around Europe.Fife Climate Hub presents this movie as part of Curnie Club – Flourish with Nature to complement an eventful Open Day. The film is very powerful in showing great benefits of nature on our doorstep. This resonates in the work that Curnie Club offers Kirkcaldy Community, especially to people dealing with loneliness and isolation. Enjoyment of growing plants in the community garden is one of the best ways we can benefit from nature in our lives and meet other people with a similar passion.A few things to note<ul><li>The event will be partly outdoors, so please dress appropriately, including footwear. Paths are level and the Community Garden is accessible to wheelchairs. However, the ground can be stony and/or wet.</li></ul>Bennochy Hub is fully accessible for wheelchairs
