What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

There is cycle storage available at the venue. Huyton Bus and Train stations are a short walk from the venue (3 - 7 minutes). Free parking (suspended parking) is available at Knowsley Council carparks at Lathom Road multi-storey car park, Archway Road and Huyton Hey.

How accessible is the venue?

The venue is located on the ground floor which provides full accessibility to the premises. Ground floor accessible toilet provisions are also available.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Accepted Answer

No, a register will be taken at the workshop, it isn't necessary to print your ticket.

Question 5

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?

Accepted Answer

Please bring along a print out of your ticket if the registration does not match the attendee, or contact hello@makecic.org to have them change the ticket so it contains your name.

What should I bring to the event?

For this class you need to bring a laptop. All other materials are provided. This class includes a lunch break, there are many cafes and restaurants nearby, or you can bring your own food and use one of our social spaces to sit and eat.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

Accepted Answer

If you find that you cannot attend then you are welcome to pass your place on to a friend who may find it useful. Please let the organiser know if you need to do this. Alternatively tickets can be transferred to a future event up to 7 days before the event.

What if Make CIC cancel the workshop?

Accepted Answer

This class does have a minimum requirement of ticket sales to proceed. Refunds will be offered in the event of the class being cancelled - in this instance we will give as much notice as possible and offer alternative dates if appropriate.

What if I can no longer attend and need to cancel my ticket?

Accepted Answer

If for any reason you find you are unable to attend then please get in touch and a refund can be offered up to 7 days before the workshop. *Refunds will be given minus Eventbrite fees, unless Make CIC cancel the class, in which case a full refund will be given*

Question 10

Why is the refund Policy 7 days?

Accepted Answer

This is because we pay our practitioners fair wages for their work. Giving refunds on last minute cancellations would mean that practitioners would not be paid for the preparation they have put into their classes.
