Join us for PDA Day 2025 with brand new content, hugely knowledgeable expert speakers and the chance to connect with other parents who face the same struggles as you do. What's happening?On 20 June 2025, we'll come together for a full day workshop at our Sunshine Hub in Derby where you will have the chance to hear from renowned PDA experts including Libby Hill, Phil Christie, Dr Judy Eaton and the PDA Society. You'll gain hugely from understanding more about PDA and, importantly, getting tips and strategies for how to support your child both at home and in school. Who is speaking? This year we will be welcoming new and familiar faces to our list of expert speakers: Renowned Speech and Language therapist, Libby Hill, is with us once again and she's being joined by Sally Cat, one of the most well-known PDA voices within the SEND community. An author, artist and presenter, Sally Cat's expression of PDA is one which resonates with so many people and helps parents to gain much more of an understanding of what's going on.We are joined by Phil Christie who is an author and leading expert on PDA. His online live webinar with Sunshine Support was our biggest one ever with hundreds of people logging on to hear from him so it's going to be a real bonus for those of us in the room on PDA Day to hear from him face to face.Dr Judy Eaton, the founder of Help4Psychology, will be joining us along with a former patient, Sophie, who was identified by Judy as having a PDA profile. Together they'll be providing us with an understanding of how we identify PDA together with a lived experience of growing up with PDA.Finally, we are joined by PDA Society who are the leading charity for PDA in the UK. Their insight is always so valued as they provide us with practical strategies for how we support can children with PDA.The opportunity to hear from all these experts in one day is one not to miss. *** IMPORTANT INFORMATION - PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING *** PLEASE NOTE: 1 TICKET PER ADULT. <ol><li>THIS IS AN IN-PERSON EVENT ONLY </li><li>LOCATION - This event takes place at our Sunshine Community Hub in Derby. It will not take place online due to the interactive nature of the event, and for GDPR purposes. Our Community Hub is spacious and airy, and has plenty of different seating options to ensure you feel comfortable. </li><li>FOOD AND REFRESHMENTS - We have plenty of tea, coffee and cold refreshments, and we always have some snacks on the go, too! There is also lunch provided at this all-day workshop. </li><li>PARKING - There is parking available on Aspen Drive itself, which surrounds the carpark of the buildings in which we are based. Please do not park in the spaces of other businesses, as you may get clamped. </li><li>NO CHILDREN - Whilst our hub is child-friendly we wouldn't recommend bringing children, as we are focused on adult-learning during this information day.</li></ol>
