As our Early Development Fund re-opens we are hosting a series of roundtables with our Talent Executives to learn more about the fund, the process of writing a treatment and other BFI NETWORK opportunities in the Midlands. The Early Development Fund is for emerging writers who looking to make the leap from shorts or writers who may be coming from other disciplines who are looking to make the crossover to features. The fund enables writers to take an idea to treatment level and we hope these roundtables can give you an insight into the journey and beyond. All our roundtables are informal with plenty of opportunity to ask your own questions.The deadline for the Early Development Fund is 11am on Tuesday 19th November 2024. These sessions are open to filmmakers based in the Midlands, or producers working with writers in the Midlands. We often experience high levels of demand for these limited-capacity roundtables. If you have booked and are unable to make the session please let us know at BFINETWORK@filmhubmidlands.org or cancel through Eventbrite. In order to ensure that spaces are available to all, we reserve the right to cancel future roundtable bookings within this series for those who do not attend without cancelling.
