We are The Nest Collective.We bring people together to celebrate global traditions through extraordinary music. We run beautiful gatherings throughout the year, including Campfire Club, Ceilidhs, Magpie’s Nest Festival, Fire Choir, and lots more.We’re an independent, non-profit arts organisation, and we rely on our ticket & bar income as well as a team of amazing volunteers to produce our annual programme. We embrace and encourage connection with nature, so many of our events take place outdoors in beautiful green spaces. Come to the stunning venue of Grand Junction this January for a jolly knees-up as we celebrate Scotland's favourite son, Robert Burns. Don the tartan and tam o'shanters, and let's get that floor shaking!Our very own house band, the Ceilidh Liberation Front, will provide the soundtrack to the afternoon.With the Ceilidh Liberation Front you can expect London’s most radical &amp; colourful live band, subverting the lore of Ceilidh with their energetic folk dance regime. They breathe vigour and vitality into the traditional ceilidh, whilst honouring its roots and traditions. Dress code: Grand Junction has a strict no heels policy for this event. Other than that there is no dress code, kilted and un-kilted are all welcome.
