<h2>VOICES OF THE FUTURE</h2>BY FREESTYLE ACADEMY IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE CULTURE HOUSE<h5>MONDAY 21 OCTOBER </h5><h5>ALEXANDRA DOCK</h5>11AM - 3PM Calling young poets and performers!Freestyle Academy CIC in partnership with The Culture House is launching a brand new digital soundscape project designed to empower young voices and give a platform to the next generation of creatives!Come along and learn about Grimsby's past and present and share your thoughts for the future. You will go on a 40 minute guided heritage 'walk and talk' through the town centre from Projekt Renewable, through to St James Square and back again. You will also learn new skills in DJing, music production and performance whilst capturing audio and creating music for the Voices of the Future soundscape. This event is free to attend and is suitable for 11-18 years of age. The workshop will take place from 11am - 4pm with a 30 minute lunch break. Please bring your own refreshments and food. Parents/ carers/ adults are welcome to stay for the day but can also Freestyle Academy CIC is a music enrichment business that engages people of all ages and abilities through the use of music technology. Voices of the Future is funded as part of the Create NEL project fund and is supported by RWE as headline sponsor of Our Future Starts Here project produced by The Culture House.
