ASD-EAST Online Conference (Belgium)

A two year funded Eramsus co-funded project to empower specialist educators in Central/Eastern European/Balkan settings to support effective inclusion of children with autism in education, providing them with appropriate skills, knowledge, strategies & locally-appropriate training.ASD EAST provides a differentiated and locally-appropriate curriculum and materials, as well as policy recommendations which will be sustainable and can have long-lasting impact beyond the project lifetime, not only in the project countries but across the EU.

This FREE conference promotes the projects autism teacher education curriculum and training materials, along with other exciting findings.

As part of the project we had one-day conferences planned for Belgium, Croatia, Poland and Republic of North Macedonia. Due to Covid-19 this has had to change. The project team are currently working on having these conferences online through our website and available for three weeks during June (8-28). This will enable people to access the material during their busy daily routines. The conference will discuss amongst many things, items such as: <ul><li>the teacher education curriculum and training materials</li><li> the mapping report </li><li>evaluation findings</li><li>our policy recommendations</li><li>information about our local partner trainings</li></ul> Please join this event to hear about our findings, and to have the opportunity to discuss issues with people who support children with autism in education.
