Fostering cross-college, interdisciplinary communities and acting as a gateway to support and advice. We work closely with the other University support services to ensure our postgraduate researchers have access to a high quality experience.

Whether you celebrate Christmas or not, come and mark the start of the holidays with your postgraduate researcher community.We'll have plenty of festive drinks and snacks, a few games and Christmas crafts, all sound tracked to some classic Christmas songs. Christmas jumpers strongly encouraged!Come by yourself to meet new people, or arrange a get together with your research network. All PGRs from any College are welcome to join us! We also have freely available bike racks, disabled parking, and step-free access. The X21 and X22 bus stop just outside, at the 'Westmere' bus stop.Any questions, please contact Katie at GraduateSchool@contacts.bham.ac.uk Please note: This event will serve alcohol alongside a range of soft drinks.This event is open only to University of Birmingham postgraduate researchers (PGR).PGR programmes include: MPhil, MMus, MRes, MA by Research, MSc by Research, MLitt, PhD, PhD with integrated study, EngD, DDS, MD, Higher doctorates and Professional doctorates.Registration will close 15 mins before the event start time or when tickets are sold out. We will be checking attendees against the Eventbrite registration and you may be refused entry if we have met capacity and you are not on the list. We have limited capacity so please cancel your ticket if you can no longer attend.
