Our on-farm demonstration series of events aim to showcase latest  technologies and opportunities for adoption.About usThe Precision Agriculture Special Interest Group ( PA SIG) has been formed to inform and encourage the adoption of the latest technology at a farm and land level. To achieve this we are working with farmers and land managers, researchers, technology developers and educational institutions to create a forum through which collaborative innovation can occur and knowledge exchange to promote the adoption and uptake of technology and innovative solutions for land management to improve productivity and reduce carbon impact in our region.Further demonstrators for the event to be announced!

<h3>Our hosts</h3><h3> </h3><h3>This event is kindly being hosted by Yorkshire farmer Roger Hobson of Hobson Farming.</h3> The Hobson family has farmed at Crockey Hill since 1847. With every generation the family farm has developed and evolved from the crops and livestock farmed to the huge advances in agricultural machinery. Rodger Hobson joined the family business in 1990 and learnt the art of growing great carrots from his father. Many years of being passionate about providing top quality carrots and excellent customer service mean that Hobson Farming is now the UK’s largest grower of carrots for the processing market producing over 30,000 tonnes of carrots each year.

<h3>Precision Agriculture Special Interest Group</h3> The Precision Agriculture Special Interest Group (PA SIG) has been established to inform and apply the latest technology at a farm and land level, to include Agriculture, Horticulture and Forestry.
