Cambridge Carbon Footprint (CCF) is an award-winning environmental charity in Cambridge, UK. We work to raise awareness of climate change issues and to support people in moving to low-carbon living.We engage with people who want to reduce their Carbon Footprint through positive, and pragmatic changes to their lifestyles. We offer a varied programme of events and activities which inspire people to engage with climate change and empower them, individually and within their communities, to move towards low carbon living.Volunteer, collaborate, come along to an event or access useful resources on climate change, and sustainable living in and around Cambridge. Cambridge Carbon Footprint

Join this training on using Thermal Imaging cameras and interpreting their images. Then  borrow one to see where your home is leaking heat.

This free, online training session shows how you can use a thermal imaging camera to reveal where your home or other buildings are leaking heat.The images are a great visual record of what needs fixing, but doing the fixing isn't included here!We'll Cover:<ul><li>using the cameras to get revealing images of poor insulation, draughts, faulty windows, heating problems, etc.</li><li>how to interpret the images and understand common pitfalls that lead to misinterpretation.</li><li>how to book a free camera loan - available when you're trained by this session</li></ul>We'll have even more cameras on loan than last season, hosted around Cambridge City, South Cambs, and Huntingdonshire, to help people borrow one fairly locally.As well as using a camera to reveal and record thermal problems around your home, we hope you can offer to investigate another home, community building or even more.Training and loans are free (donations welcome), but you need to book: 'Get a Ticket' here ⤴We'll tell bookers how to join this online training in reminder emails 3 days, and again, 3 hrs before it starts.
