Come along for a fun social and foam monster modelling session with fellow Sheffield illustrators. Get into the Halloween spirit!

Sheffield Illustrators are back at Vocation &amp; Co for their October meet up! What to expect? In the spirit of Halloween, we’ll be sketching and then modelling monster characters in air dry foam clay. The mini models will be yours to take home to develop and draw as you choose.For anyone new to this medium, Foam Clay is an easy to meld material which doesn’t require a kiln! Foam clay is a great cost effective way of materialising your designs, due to its light weight nature it’s great for jewellery and bauble making too! If you have modelling tools, plus any spares that others in the group could use, please bring these along. Please also bring along a small box or container in which to safely transport your model home.Whether you’re a seasoned Illustrator, just starting out or simply enjoy being creative, this meet up is for you. Run by a team of three who have hosted events for the local illustrator community since the Sheffield Illustrators group was revived in January 2024. All experience levels are welcome from students to seasoned pros. <h4>Accessibility:</h4>Vocation has level access and good public transport links, plus on street and surface level car park options close by. The AOI would like to make events accessible to all, where possible.
