A day of learning and networking for safety-conscious controllers of amusement devices across the UK.

Scottish Event Campus (SEC)

The Amusement Devices Inspection Procedures Scheme (ADIPS) is holding a FREE safety training day for fairground and theme park operators and attendants on Wednesday 8th January 2025 at the SEC in Glasgow. Numbers are limited so please book your place as early as possible.This day is the industry giving back help, guidance and training to its operators to promote safety.This will be the seventh SHAD event that ADIPS has held, and it will follow a similar format to the others. The intention is to hold rotating seminars on the following subjects:<ul><li>Electrical Safety</li><li>Machine Maintenance</li><li>Non-destructive testing (NDT)</li><li>Passenger Behaviour</li><li>Inflatables</li></ul>Plus, there will be general safety updates, ADIPS news and information about how to receive your free ADIPS device ID stickers. There will also be a physical lecture around a machine in the main hall. Free refreshments will be provided.Attendance Certificate.Attendees will receive an ADIPS-branded certificate to put in their staff training records for CPD. Plus notes and follow up information will be supplied.
