YIELD stands for Young, Innovative, Enterprising, Learning and Developing.  It’s a thriving new network for younger members’ of the Royal Norfolk Agricultural Association.YIELD was formed to meet the demand for a rural business network in Norfolk. It combines professional development, training and the opportunity to socialise for farming professionals and business owners in an informal way.The RNAA gives YIELD administrative support and promotes the activities of the group through access to training, funding and contacts. The network is steered by members of the YIELD organising committee. The group is independent and does not represent any commercial interests.

<h4>YIELD Network Speaker Event Where is the power in the food supply chain? Is it for the good? </h4>Date: 26 November 2024 Time: 6 p.m. arrival for a prompt 6:30 p.m. start Location: The Forum, Millenium Plain, NorwichCome join us as we delve into the complexities of the food supply chain, with the some of Norfolk and the UK's finest thinkers on the subject. We'll explore who holds the power in this industry and whether it's being used for the greater good. How might the food supply chain change for the better? How might we play a part? YIELD have convened a great panel, chaired by <a href="https://www.jez-fredenburgh.com/" title="https://www.jez-fredenburgh.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Jez Fredenburgh</a>, to explore these topics:<ul><li><a href="https://www.city.ac.uk/about/people/academics/timothy-lang" title="https://www.city.ac.uk/about/people/academics/timothy-lang" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Professor Tim Lang, Emeritus Professor of Food Policy at City University London's Centre for Food Policy.</a></li><li><a href="https://research-portal.uea.ac.uk/en/persons/andrew-fearne" title="https://research-portal.uea.ac.uk/en/persons/andrew-fearne" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Professor Andrew Fearne, Professor of Value Chain Management at Norwich Business School.</a></li><li><a href="https://hodmedods.co.uk/pages/the-hodmedod-story" title="https://hodmedods.co.uk/pages/the-hodmedod-story" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Josiah Meldrum, one of the founders of Hodmedod. Hodmedod work with British farms to source a range of top quality ingredients and delicious foods.</a></li></ul>The evening will start with a reception at 6 p.m., before we descend the stairs to the auditorium for a 6:30 p.m. start. For those interested in carrying on the discussion following the event you are invited to join us for drink at the Sir Garnet.
