Mosaic making workshop using LEGO® bricks, designed for children with special educational needs and disabilities.

Hull & East Riding Museum

This session is designed for children who live in Hull or attend Hull schools, who have special eductaional needs or a disability. It is funded by Hull City Council and the Department for Education through the Healthy Holidays Hull programme.In these workshop, children will join the expert builders from BrickBox to create their own mosaics from LEGO® bricks inspired by the Roman mosaics in the Hull and East Riding Museum.Free healthy snacks are also provided for each child who attends the session. Sessions are fun and interactive and best suited to children 5 -16 years, however younger siblings and family members are welcome to come along.At the end of the session, children can take home a pack to make their own brooch from LEGO® bricks inspired by the museum collections.Booking for this session is essential and children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Please only book a ticket for each child attending the sesion.
