A Celebration of Chaplaincy with the President and Vice President of the Methodist Conference

<p>We’re in challenging times, and yet people still talk of God at work in our broken world. Chaplains are part of God’s mission – living out the love of God in so many different places and discovering hidden treasures as people encounter God. Join us for a celebration of chaplaincy with the president and vice-president of the Methodist Conference as they link their theme of Praise and Protest to the work of chaplaincy.</p><p>This event is an opportunity to give thanks for and affirm the work of chaplains through prayer, music and conversation. Hosted by the Methodist Church, the event is open to all and while it is mainly aimed at chaplains, those interested in chaplaincy are welcome to join and affirm chaplains and discover what God is doing through the work of chaplaincy.</p><p>More information about the president, the Revd Helen Cameron and the vice-president, Carolyn Godfrey, can be found on the <a href="https://www.methodist.org.uk/about-us/the-methodist-conference/conference-2023/presidency/president-and-vice-president-2023-24/" title="https://www.methodist.org.uk/about-us/the-methodist-conference/conference-2023/presidency/president-and-vice-president-2023-24/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Methodist Church website</a>.</p><p>The event will be taking place online. If you know of other chaplains local to you why not make this a shared experience by meeting together and joining the session as a group?</p><p>W e would also like to send you a small gift as part of this event if you sign up before the 19th December and are happy to provide a postal address. We do, however ask that you make efforts to let us know if you cannot attend. This helps us with reducing wastage of resources and food.</p><p><br></p><h2>The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?</h2><p>To keep accurate records, all attendees need to be named on this booking. To comply with the General Data Protection Regulation, attendees also need to agree to our holding your name, date of attendance and Circuit in a database.
