The School of Environment, Education and Development (SEED) at the University of Manchester is keen to make a difference in society. One route for this to happen is for teaching and learning in the School to be geared towards an inclusive, fair and sustainable future. The SEED Teaching Innovation Collective is intended to provide one means for colleagues to support each other in framing and taking forward innovations and good practice in teaching towards these ends. Social impact of any kind relies heavily on people joining together.  The collective is currently facilitated by Professor Peter Kahn.Please note that in some cases you may need the event link in order to see details of the event.

This session will give colleagues an opportunity to exchange ideas about how to develop the applied dimension to their teaching.

<p>Students gain a great deal from learning in applied settings. The grand challenges of this century, after all, are primarily about a world that lies beyond the confines of a campus. This session will give colleagues an opportunity to exchange ideas about how to develop the applied dimension to their teaching.</p>
