The Care Forum's Dialogue Coronavirus Online Event (North Somerset)

Dialogue is the only team to provide specialist strategic health and social care intelligence to service planners and providers who want to deliver effective, connected, informed services.We strengthen information flow and share innovation and good practice to improve inclusion, understanding and collaboration across health and wellbeing services in order to help make services as effective as they can be.We promise voluntary, community and social enterprise groups and commissioners that they can count on us for specialist, strategic health and wellbeing intelligence to improve inclusion understanding and collaboration.

Dialogue at The Care Forum

Online Engagement Event to bring together  the voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector to share thoughts and ideas.

Dialogue at The Care Forum is holding an e-conference for the VCSE mental health sector in North Somerset. This will be an opportunity to connect with other professionals from the sector, to hear guest speakers, to share knowledge and best practise, and to offer your insight and feedback on how your organisation is being affected by the pandemic so we can improve understanding on how the sector is supporting its communities and service users during this period.This event will be structured as follows:- The first half will feature:<ul><li>Helen Yeo from North Somerset Council talking about the BNSSG Mental Health group andthe Together North Somerset network.</li><li>Amie Dobinson and Jason Parker from Second Step talking about North Somerset services, how they have changed their offer during the pandemic, the impact on Second Step and their hopes for the future. </li></ul>- The second half will be a research component, taking the form of an informal group discussion. This will involve VCSE sector participants breaking into smaller groups with our facilitators, who will then speak to you in a confidential setting about how your organisation has responded to the epidemic, the challenges you&#x27;ve faced, and the way forward for the sector. The research component of the event will be used to generate insight for the sector, inform strategy and decision-making, and we will share the results sector-wide to help build understanding of some of the issues facing our sector.Dialogue is also conducting one-to-one interviews to address the same questions.
