Who is the training aimed at?

Materials are for GLAM professionals, aimed at small to medium GLAMs, and information for volunteers, trustees or senior leadership. The materials have been commissioned by TaNC and created by a team of experts.

Who can attend this training workshop?

We’ve designed these materials largely for people working in Galleries, Libraries, Archives and Museums, but they may have some relevance for people working in other sectors, notably on research projects with digital cultural heritage.

I work in GLAM but am not an employee, can I still attend?

We aim for these resources to be available for all people working in volunteer-run organisations or to the growing body of people who are interested in digital volunteering.

Located at the heart of the civic centre, Glamorgan Building (home to the Department of City and Regional Planning and Social Sciences) provides an excellent venue for  training and meetings. Our session will take place in Community Rooms 1 & 2.
