Come along to this free event to plant trees in Blue Boar Lane park.

Blue Boar Lane Park

This is a free community tree planting event organised by Sprowston Town Council. Spaces are limited so please book a free ticket to reserve your space (one ticket will cover a group of up to 5 people).Attendees will be given 3 or 4 native trees per group, to plant along the border of the park.As the trees grow they will provide habitat and food for wildlife, shade for park-goers, and carbon capture from the atmosphere.The grass area where we will be planting trees is uneven and may be wet. Please wear appropriate outdoor footwear and wrap up warm. Do bring a spade or two if you have them, although we will have a few spades available to borrow.Car parking is available at the Lidl supermarket adjacent to Blue Boar Lane park (please check maximum stay duration).The best address and postcode to use for Sat Navs is Lidl car park: Blue Boar Ln, Norwich NR7 8AB.Photographs will be taken at the event and these may be published in the Town Council's public newsletter (Sprowston Matters), our website and/or Facebook. If you would prefer not to be included in any photographs please speak to one of the event volunteers on the day.
