Community Kitchen Meal Drive!

Bounceback Food CIC is a social enterprise fighting food poverty and food waste across the UK. Our Community Cookery School teams teach people how to cook, run food bank drives at market events, help people get jobs in the food sector and coordinate community meal drives that provide emergency meals for our beneficiaries.Since 2014 we have taught 10,000+ people how to cook - including stroke survivors, young carers, foodbank beneficiaries and elderly people living in sheltered accommodation. We have also secured 25,000+ donations to food banks and generated over 250,000 meals for people in need via our catering, community meal drives and cookery workshops.We run a variety of public cookery workshops, supper clubs and fundraising events throughout the year - hopefully see you soon!

Help us prep, cook & distribute hot meals for vulnerable people this winter at our new Community Kitchen space within Altogether Otherwise!

Bounceback Food Community Kitchen - Manchester

Come and join the team from <a href="https://bouncebackfood.co.uk/" title="https://bouncebackfood.co.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Bounceback Food CIC</a> at the recently opened Community Kitchen at <a href="https://www.altogetherotherwise.com/" title="https://www.altogetherotherwise.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Altogether Otherwise</a>. On the day we will be batch cooking and distributing hot meals to vulnerable people in that we support at our partner meal distribution sites in Manchester city centre. We need all hands on deck!

There will be a range of jobs on the day. Turn up in the morning to help with prep and batch cooking, join us in the afternoon for distribution, or come for some lunch and meet the kitchen team. No experience is required, although cooking skills are always useful.
