On Tuesday 17th December, we'll be welcoming Max from Moreno Wines to take us through a whistle stop tour of new to old World french wines.

Join us for a tour of Old to New World French wines with Max from Moreno Wines. You'll experience 5 wines on the tour all for £25 per head. Limited tickets are available so bring a friend and book in today. You'll get a chance to experience five amazing wines: Vignerons de Mancey – Blanc de BlancCrafted in the Maconnais region of southern Burgundy, this traditional méthode sparkling wine is composed of Chardonnay and Aligote. Renowned for its elegant and balanced style, as well as a flavorful palate, this sparkling Burgundy has a rich history and a dedicated following. The wine undergoes a minimum of 12 months of lees aging before the remuage and degorgement processes, imparting a subtle brioche note to the finish.Domaine de la Dourbie – Mala Coste BlancMade from 50 to 80 year old vines, this wine with a strong character takes its name from the place called "Mala Coste". This demanding hillside distills flasks with finesse that release a velvety sensation in the mouth. Liquid Barry White with a touch of minerality.Fontaine Goby – Chablis Amphore Demeter certified, skin contact, amphora Chablis. Say no more Rodders.Domaine de la Dourbie – Marius Rouge Produced from the most beautiful parcelsof the estate, Marius is an easy-drinking wine, subtly fruity and slightly lively. Its supple tannins are revealed with modesty to caress the palate. A nectar that sticks to all the obsessions of the moment.Chateau Picoron – Ne de l’Eden Luscious black berry, and ripe dark fruits, leather, cigar and hint of vanilla, held together in perfect balance with silky tannins. Harvested from old vines, drinking from clay over limestone terroir. Christmas completed.
