FREE BarberTalk Live training now available to barbers and hair professionals in Torbay

In partnership with the Public Health Devon, we’re delighted to offer a session of our BarberTalk Live training, for FREE. We have created a bespoke training course called BarberTalk to assist hair professionals, giving them the skills to help their clients when in need.You’re more than a just a barber or a hairdresser.These last few months have been incredibly challenging for all of us. We’ve all been having our own experiences of emotions and if you’ve been feeling it, so have your clients. When you’re able to get back to work, your clients will want to share their emotions and our BarberTalk training can help you prepare for those conversations. You’re more than a just a barber or a hairdresser. You’re a safe space for someone to feel some support and kindness. This is an opportunity for you to make a difference to someone’s life. BarberTalk is an in-depth session that builds on the four pilars of our training to equip you with the skills to help your clients to better mental wellbeing:<ul><li>Gives you the tools to RECOGNISE mental health issues in your clients</li><li>Equip you to be able to ASK direct questions about the emotional wellbeing of your clients</li><li>Refine your LISTENING skills to be present at a critical moment for your clients </li><li>Provide you with the resources to HELP your client find support</li></ul>More information about the BarberTalk Online courseThe BarberTalk Online training is a 4-hour course that normally takes place in person, so we’re delighted to now be able make the training more accessible. Not only will you be able to learn directly from Tom Chapman and his team of ambassadors, you will come together with other industry cohorts to dive in to the topic of mental health, share how it impacts you and your job, and learn how you can support your clients in your role. The virtual course will be delivered live online and we are only able to offer this Free for a limited period of time, so reserve your place now.We’re excited to take your training to the next level. Together, we are stronger. Due to funding this training is only availble to professionals in the Torbay area.
