BasildON Creative People and Places is a 5 year programme of creative activities driven by local people. Led by and delivered for local residents, the programme seeks to challenge traditional notions of ‘art and culture’ – who makes it, where it is made and who it is for. We believe that art and culture is for everyone. Creative Basildon aims to develop events and experiences that celebrate Basildon and its communities across its five towns.

Live Across Wickford is nearly here! Join us for some exciting craft workshops and performances from wonderful local musicians at a series of venues across Wickford.

Live Across Wickford is a project commissioned by Creative Basildon. The project includes a series of creative workshops that celebrate community and co-production, using music as a tool to bring people together and encourage them to get involved in the arts, culminating in a celebration event, featuring live music, art created by the community and interactive workshops.Join us at Battlesbridge Antiques Centre to make your own journals with TriggerBliss and immerse into authentic expression using journalling techniques that promote positive pathways of thought.
