Yoga brings a wonderful foundation to children’s lives, as it empowers them to deal with life’s challenges resourcefully.
These unique yoga, mindfulness and wellbeing sessions will teach children to breathe, self regulate their emotions and learn to listen mindfully to their body. The children will do physical exercise through poses, games and dance, improving their co-ordination and flexibility, while balancing their nervous system through a variety of breathing techniques, magical meditations, sound and sensory relaxations.
Using lots of different resources and techniques the classes are unique and lots of fun, creating a sense of calm for the children. They will help their overall well-being and give them tools they can use over and over to help them self regulate and keep calm in life's challenges.
Parents will also learn tips on how to calm their children and Suzie, the yoga teacher who takes these lessons is happy for them to join in the sessions if they wish to.
Suzie teaches in Woolgrove School and Lonsdale School and has lots of experience working with SEND children.
The sessions are 45 minutes long.
Costs are heavily subsidised by SPACE in order to make this experience accessible to as many families as possible.
Families will pay £20 + Eventbrite fees per session so a total of £80 + Eventbrite Fees for the 4 week block.
Once a booking has been made, you start time and date will be arranged between yourself and Suzie.
Parents/Carers must remain on site at all times and children remain the responsibility of their parents/carers at all times.

These sessions will need to be taken by Thursday 11th December, although there may be flexibilty on this at the discretion of the instructor.
