Join Camden Council and Councillor Adam Harrison, Cabinet member for a Sustainable Camden for the launch of Camden's Climate Action Plan.

Camden Council will be hosting this online event in collaboration with community friends to officially launch Camden’s new Climate Action Plan. ________________________________________________________________________________________________The <a href="http://democracy.camden.gov.uk/documents/s89494/Climate%20Action%20Plan%20Appendix%201%20_%20Camden%20climate%20action%20plan.pdf" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Climate Action Plan</a> is the product of the UK’s first <a href="https://www.camden.gov.uk/climate-crisis" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Citizen’s Assembly on the climate crisis </a>which took place in Camden last summer. Over three sessions, assembly members made up of Camden’s diverse residents considered evidence from climate scientists, environmentalists and community energy practitioners before developing their proposals on how Camden should address the climate crisis.<h3></h3>Councillor Harrison would like to invite you all to this official launch of the Climate Action Plan. He will provide an update on the plan and what this means for Camden moving forward. The event will also provide the opportunity to hear from a number of speakers on how aspects of the plan are already being practiced at the school, community and business level.
