OverviewDiabetes mellitus in patients with cancer is very common. Diabetes remains one of the commonest comorbid conditions in patients with cancer and the co-existence of cancer and diabetes can have serious implications on cancer care. In this study day we discuss new research relating to the field and also provide updates in the clinical management of patients with both cancer and diabetes. This study day will be beneficial for all healthcare professionals who manage patients with either cancer or diabetes mellitus.Intended AudienceWhat to expect<ul><li>Updates in the understanding of the relationship between diabetes and cancer.</li><li>Overview of the management of patients with cancer and diabetes, Including specific case studies.</li><li>An update about the impact of cancer treatments on blood glucose levels.</li><li>An insight into the multidisciplinary care that patients with both cancer and diabetes require.</li></ul>AgendaT o be confirmedPlease note: one livestream ticket purchase is equivalent to one CPD certificate and the name on the ticket will match the one on the booking registration. Further details can be found in our T&amp;C's further down this page.Venue InformationThe Christie Education Centre is located on the 2nd floor in Dept 17 of the main hospital and can be accessed by stairs or lift. Toilets are also on this floor including an accessible toilet. The auditorium has a hearing loop available and ramp access. A prayer room is available and close by. We want everyone attending our event in person to have the best possible experience.
