T﻿he Rebuild Site takes surplus materials from construction sites and put them to good use.A﻿s part of our Communities Programme, we run a series of workshops, events and information sessions for the public. We cover areas such as sustainable skills, arts and crafts using recycled/ surplus materials and environmental focused activities.

Learn new practical skills or get creative with sustainable crafts as part of the Rebuild Carlisle January - March 2025 Workshop Programme.

Join us for a hand sewing session focusing on clothing mending and repair. Learn how to attach and use various fastenings such as buttons, press studs and hooks and eyes.Bring a clothing item from home, or use our stock.Led by local artist and facilitator <a href="https://www.delicatestitches.co.uk/" title="https://www.delicatestitches.co.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Helen Walsh of Delicate Stitches</a>. This workshop is running as part of The Rebuild Site CIC Winter 2025 Events Programme. See our website for more information. <h4>Workshop Information</h4><ul><li>These workshops are aimed at adults. You will need to be 16 or over to book.</li><li>Unless otherwise specified, all materials will be provided by us.</li><li>Refreshments such as tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.</li><li>Due to the content of some of our activities, you will be required to undertake a Health and Safety briefing before the start of the session. You may be required to wear PPE, such as face shields and gloves. These will be provided by us.</li><li>Please wear weather and activity appropriate clothing and footwear when visiting us.</li></ul> <h4>Accessibility</h4>If you have any accessibility requirements, please get in touch with us before the event.We are close to the number 62 bus route which runs from Carlisle City Centre.
