Join author Aminatta Forna for an exclusive two-hour writing craft workshop

As part of the Dare to Write? Academy Summer Classes, Paper Nations are offering aspiring writers the opportunity to join author Aminatta Forna for an exclusive two-hour writing craft workshop. The workshop will include writing exercises and Q&amp;A access to Aminatta’s first class industry knowledge and expertise. It will be suitable for both emerging and experienced writers, providing insight on writing practice and craft and well as writing and publishing as a professional author. Spaces will be limited to 30 writers.Due to the anticipated popularity of this workshop, it will also run on <a href="https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/dare-to-write-academy-summer-craft-workshop-with-aminatta-forna-tickets-111945586262" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Tuesday 28th July.</a> Please note that the content of each workshop will be the same so there is no need to book twice. Aminatta Forna is an award-winning author and memoirist, with published titles including, Happiness, The Hired Man, The Memory of Love and Ancestor Stones, and a memoir The Devil that Danced on the Water. Her books have been translated into twenty-two languages, with her essays appearing in Freeman’s, Granta, The Guardian, LitHub, The Nation, The New York Review of Books, The Observer and Vogue.The Dare to Write? Academy is a life-long coaching service for people with a personal or professional interest in writing. It aims to help writers, researchers, and educators to develop habits for writing that last a lifetime. Both the content and design of the Dare to Write? Academy are based on research emerging from Paper Nations, as well as on the expertise of guest writers.Paper Nations is a creative writing incubator, which commissions writers throughout the South West of England to create new work. It nurtures local communities of support for writers, and creates multi-channel partnerships to showcase new writing internationally.This event has been made possible through the financial and developmental support of Bath Spa University and Arts Council England.Once you have successfully booked your place, joining instructions will be sent to you shortly before the workshop.
