Walk and Count Your Steps for JBTC - Goal to walk around the world - Part 2

This is the 3rd Annual Count Your Steps for JBTC. The idea is to become a bit more active, take in the scenery, and help support JBTC. Whilst the recommendation is that we all walk 10,000 steps a day, we ask that you walk as much as you can. If you want to be challenged then our challenge to you is to walk 100,000 steps over 10 days which is 10,000 a day! Can you do it? This year we have opted to give our steppers 2 dates to choose from. 22nd August - 31st August is Part 1 and 5th September - 14th September is Part 2As in previous years, we have aligned with the IBTA who want to see how many times any of their charity friends can walk around the world. Last year, collectively we walked almost to China! Let&#x27;s see how far we can go this year. Please adhere to the Government restrictions on Social Distancing whilst you go off and enjoy some of the beautiful walks here in Jersey. If you&#x27;re lucky enough to be away then why not count your steps when you&#x27;re on your holiday! How to keep track of your steps? Well most of us have smartphones and/or watches, these can keep track of your steps, at the end of each day, send us a screenshot of your steps for that day and we will keep a record to send to IBTA. If you don&#x27;t have a smartphone, don&#x27;t worry, we know that 4 miles is roughly 10,000 steps so maybe take a stroll along the front from Le Fregate to Bel Royal and back, that&#x27;s roughly how far you need to walk each day.
