Is there parking at the venue?

Accepted Answer

There is paid parking at the Sovereign Centre. Alternatively, park on the street where there are no parking restrictions and walk to the venue.

What does the session entail?

Accepted Answer

We will embrace the teachings of this ancient Hawai'ian practice, set intentions, use gesture as a starting point to free flow movement dance journey. You are invited to move as gently or wildly as you wish. Dance your story to acceptance,  forgiveness and clarify.

Question 3

Will we be lying down and sitting in a meditation in this session?

Accepted Answer

You are invited to move freely throughout this session. However, if you so choose, you may sit out of the way of other dancers. The facilitator will offer guidance during parts of this session. Allow the music to guide your movements and dance your story of reconciliation, forgiveness, acceptance.

Question 4

What should I bring?

Accepted Answer

Bring your open mind, open heart and willingness to experience this practice. Bring water to drink.  Food is not permitted in the studio. Wear comfortable clothes and warm socks. A warm blanket, puncho or cardigan. There are heaters in the studio.

Question 5

Can I get a refund if I can't attend?

Accepted Answer

We need 72 hours notice if you are unable to attend. Eventbrite fees are not refundable.   We do offer a ticket swap for another session. Alternatively, you may give your ticket to a friend, colleague or acquaintance. Please inform SunFire Dance of the person's name, email address and session.
