Everyone is welcome to join us for this spectacular Lunar New Year Lantern Festival evening celebration at the Oriental Museum.

Join us for an exciting evening celebrating the Year of the Snake. The museum will be decorated with red lanterns, and there will be musical performances, New Year snacks to try, dragon-themed arts and crafts, dragon dancing, an exciting retelling of the traditional New Year story - the Great Race - and much more. Suitable for all the family.Tickets are £3 for adults and children. Children under 2 years old are free of charge.Booking is essential.If you need any further information, please do not hesitate to get in touch.We hope you can join us. Parking and Access InformationFree Disabled Parking will be available in Teikyo University carpark, adjacent to the Oriental Museum.Other free event parking is available in the University's Elvet Hill carpark. We have agreed with the university that visitors to the event will be able to use this carpark for the evening.Lunar New Year Lantern Festival is an exciting celebration. There will be flashing lights, loud music and our galleries will be very busy. Returning TicketsIf you book tickets and later find you are unable to attend the event, please do cancel your ticket via Eventbrite so that it becomes available to others.
