St Nicks Ceilidh Dance

St Nicks is the green heart of York: a centre for nature and green living. The charity started as ‘Friends of St Nicholas Fields’ in the 1990s by transforming a former landfill site into a thriving Local Nature Reserve. We continue to manage it, with the help of many great volunteers, for the benefit of both wildlife and our visitors.We are based atSt Nicks Environment Centrewhich combines many green features. From this base, we run projects, events and services which help to make York more sustainable.

Show the love for St Nicks, the planet...and dancing! Enjoy live music by <a href="https://www.facebook.com/fiddlerswreck" title="https://www.facebook.com/fiddlerswreck" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">FiddlersWreck</a>, raffle draw, plus drinks and snacks to keep you fuelled. You will have a great night out whilst raising funds for <a href="https://www.stnicks.org.uk/about-us/the-charity/" title="https://www.stnicks.org.uk/about-us/the-charity/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">St Nicks charity</a><a href="https://stnicks.org.uk/about-us/the-charity/" title="https://stnicks.org.uk/about-us/the-charity/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">.</a> Accompanied children are welcome.Ticket costs: £10/£8 concessions (under 16s free)The raffle draw will take place on the night at 9.30pm(card payment facilities will be limited so please bring cash for the bar and raffle.) There are regular buses to Front street from the city centre (Bus routes 16,1,412.)We always encourage people to consider walking, cycling or using public transport to events wherever possible.
